The many A-size sheets all use the same math because they are all based on the German DIN 476 paper size standard. This rule is based on how long the paper is compared to how wide it is. The ratio of the length to the width of an A-size paper is 1.414. This ratio is the same for all A-size papers. So, it’s easy to change the size of content without changing its symmetry.
For different tasks, different sizes of paper are used. Most business cards are 85 mm by 55 mm, which is about the same size as an A4 magazine. Here are the important measurements. Everyone uses terms that are small enough to fit on a single sheet of paper, but do they all know what they mean and why? C paper sizes are only used to make envelopes. B-sized paper is bigger than A-sized paper, and it is usually used for big projects like posters and folders. They make it possible to print long texts on fewer pages and for less money. Unless a customer specifically asks for a custom size, postcards (A6), flyers (A5), and newsletters (A4) will all be made in a standard size unless the customer asks for a custom size.
